United Nations Millennium Promise Director Dr. Jeffrey Sachs
SAN FRANCISCO, September 10, 2006 – Bob & Edie Gentile of Heights of Jupiter, recently
joined thousands of likeminded entrepreneurs from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan,
and Malaysia at Shaklee Corporation’s 50th Anniversary Conference, held here on August 16-20.
Shaklee, the number one natural nutrition company in the U.S., set a first for the City: it offset all
carbon dioxide emissions associated with the conference, including the Gentile’s air and ground
travel, hotel accommodations and event activities in what was billed as the first carbon neutral
conference in the history of San Francisco.
Bob and Edie are shown on stage as they received their trophy. They added more than 50 new
members over the past year. Their goal this year is to double the number of families they help to
create healthy homes.
