Hey everyone it’s me Ashe

~HEIGHTS KIDS~

Hey everyone it’s me Ashe!

It’s finally getting close to summertime again, and the anticipation of getting out of school is really starting to get to most of us. Luckily by the time you read this, everyone should be done with FCAT testing, but just in case anyone is still taking it good luck! Another good thing to look forward to is Spring Break which is less than a month away. For some of us high school students we have more than just final exams to worry about. Even though we have all summer to worry about it, our volunteer hours are equally important. They are needed for graduation-- aren’t there now?? Besides who wants to procrastinate with that and be stuck with all your required hours to do in our senior year?? Not me!! After all that is a time when we should be enjoying ourselves!

Well, I have been informed by the Beautification Committee of an opportunity which is really worth your while. Everyone has worked very hard in transforming our neighborhood into one of the best neighborhoods in Jupiter. We are now working on phase two of our beautification project. The main goal of this phase is to complete the construction of our neighborhood entrance sign To help make this happen the Beautification Committee has asked for teenagers in our neighborhood to help distribute flyers throughout the neighborhood. If you are interested in participating in this worthwhile event please contact Gina Pierce, the Chairperson of Friends of the Heights with your full name and telephone number, at ginarealtor@adelphia.net. The exact date of the groundbreaking ceremony is still uncertain other than a Saturday approximately mid-Marc. Any time you might offer is greatly appreciated. Finally, I would really like to get teens involved in the planning of an event for the summer. If you are interested please contact me with your ideas.

That’s all for this month and as you know everyone is always welcomed to e-mail me to discuss any topic or inform the rest of the neighborhood of any events. All e-mails should be sent to heightskidstoday@yahoo.com. See everyone next month,

Ashley
